Exactly the same frustration I have with our history syllabus—they removed the chapter on Meira Paibi resistance because it "doesn't fit the national narrative," but my Ema's hands still tremble when she tells me about those nights. Who benefits when our children can't wire a fuse or name their own grandmother's protest songs?
