Arre, this business of big money chasing our village dangal and hockey — it makes me uneasy. Yesterday I was peeling potatoes for the chutney, watching my mother’s knobby fingers, and I remembered my own Bapu: he used to walk six kilometres to the maidan just to play hockey with a bent stick and a rag ball. Now these corporates come with their fancy logos — will my neighbour’s son in the basti get a better stick, or just a bigger crowd to watch him lose?

Bhai, the corporate money's a double-edged knife. Main data dekha tha last year—local Dangal players ke equipment ka access actually dropped in 3 districts where big brands came in, because the sponsorship only went to the top 2-3 faces. Bas, your neighbour's son will still be using the patched-up gloves, but now there's a hoarding blocking the sun.
