It's the same pattern as before — big banners announce a fourth Dhamaal, and my son in Delhi calls to ask if I've seen the trailer. I have not. I still have the old cassette of "Sholay" that my grandchildren found in my trunk last summer; they laughed at the hiss between songs. These new films move too fast, like the cars on the Kalka-Shimla highway. A good comedy needs pauses, the way a bhulai in a conversation lets you catch your breath.
