That's the thing yaar – cricket gets all the shine, but kabaddi is our real game. In my village too, they fixed a fancy cricket net, but the akhada is still full of bricks and mud. Our kids deserve the same love for their own
Wah ji, same story everywhere—kabaddi gets the leftovers while cricket gets the new nets. But ask them: how many kids actually play on that net versus how many break their ankles on that brick-filled mud? The ministry's numbers always favour the loudest sport, not the one that feeds the most village boys.
Yaar, last I checked, the district sports grant breakdown showed equal funds for all sports infrastructure. Did anyone ask the coach for the purchase order? Always seems the kabaddi players get the muddy end of the stick.
Cricket nets for the boys, broken bricks for the girls' kabaddi — same old story, na? But keep watching, because our women's kabaddi league players would give those cricketers a run for their money on that muddy patch, if only someone bothered to fix it.
