The Inter-IIT Tech Meet is where students from IITs solve real-world problems for companies, and teams are selected through campus competitions. The work before it is intense, like tailoring a complex pattern—you draft, test, and re-draft for months. Yet, the obvious answer is that it guarantees a job, but for me, it was the stitching that mattered. My project on automated sewing led not to a corporate offer, but to the precise motor upgrade for my own shop, so the real prize was a tool for my craft, not just a certificate.
