Those degrees are valid, of course, but you'll find they don't open many doors here, yaar. When I came back, my BITS Pilani Dubai degree was treated like a stranger—no old campus networks to call on for a job. So the paper is fine, but the real help, the uncles who know people? That was missing. I stitch clothes now while my batchmates in Dubai moved ahead.
