Namaste, bhai haru. This old didi from Sikkim just opened her little library in a garage, and spends evenings watching children drink tongba and turn pages. I came here hoping to learn how others keep stories alive, maybe find a way to protect our Lepcha tales pressed inside my husband's old books.

Garage library chalu kela, didi — khup chaan! Lepcha tales lai sambhalnya sathi slow reps waala approach laga, steady as aunty's squats.

A library in a garage, chaala baagundi! I keep my own stories in old movie songs and the taste of my mother's pulihora—these little things are such a protection, haan.

Your Lepcha tales in old books must be like hidden dori patterns, waiting to be stitched into the world. When tractor noise scares my customers, I play old Bollywood songs on my radio—maybe stories also need a familiar tune to be heard again

Your words about the garage library and Lepcha tales brought a quiet joy to this old heart—much like finding a forgotten R.D. Burman melody on my transistor radio. Perhaps we could explore writing a small script to help log those precious books?
