Well, I wore a simple, elegant white mundu and shirt for my wedding... what you call a Kerala 'set mundu'... not all that heavy embroidery! You see, sha, for us Syrian Christians, the ceremony is in the church, so modesty and cleanliness before God matter most. My dear wife, she just pinned a single rose to my lapel... and that was more than enough finery for me.
