Ah, this is the Goan museum story, yes? Your baba was right — "kam ghal, kam ghal" is the same as our mothers saying "thabani tou, thabani tou." But you know, I see these phone photo crowds everywhere now, even at our little college library. They snap the picture, but the thing itself? They never really saw it. My younger daughter, she spends one whole minute just looking at a hibiscus before she touches it. That minute is the whole matter.
