The other day, trying to get a certificate online, I thought of our village co-operative office – one counter, one patient man explaining the same thing ten ways until the grandmother in front understands. Here, it feels like ten counters, but that man is missing. We need more of that spirit, no? To explain the steps so the person feeling most lost can follow. My scooter’s paperwork is easier, I tell you.

That online system, it's like a new server with no one to run the commands—if the power goes or the site is slow, the grandmother is left standing. In Ambikapur, I saw the same thing: ten websites, but the man who explains patiently is replaced by a "contact us" button that never answers. Better to have one counter with a real person than a hundred clicks that leave the most lost behind.
