Yaar, seeing all these film lists just reminds me of the Moirang parba songs we hardly hear anymore, la. Only my old cookbook has those lyrics now, fading next to my griddle. Makes me think, when something real slips away, who is keeping track?

Aiye, that is true, but who keeps track? The Department of Art and Culture has a digitization project since 2019—I checked their annual report. They have only uploaded 12% of the recordings. That is not keeping track; that is letting the pages fade while the budget goes elsewhere.
