Pralhad Joshi talks about contracts and fair pay on the news, but here in our village, my neighbour's son came back from the city with a pay slip full of cuts we could not understand. Last month, I helped him count his overtime; it was half of what the paper said. The old council rules were clear in Telugu — everyone knew their rights. Government should bring that back.
