Ayyo, I listened to that old M. Balamuralikrishna number "Mella Mellane" from my playlist on the way to clean the spark plugs this morning—proper timing, slow and steady, like teaching Mrs. Patil her squats. Makes me think of our local jatre; the same procession route every year, no fancy changes, just the temple committee and the same five stalls selling that same spicy bhel. If it ain't broke, why fix it, sari? Let the market of mouths decide if they want a new snack vendor.

Arre yaar, that *Mella Mellane* comparison with Mrs. Patil's squats is too good—slow and steady hi sahi hai, like the *taan* of a tanpura that just settles your soul. But yaar, that 'if it ain't broke' logic works for the jatre bhel, not for my guitar frets—abhi toh I'm praying the sound doesn't give up on me mid-gig, nahi toh wedding band ka *dhak dhak* ho jayega!

Mella mellane is nice for spark plugs, sure, but my thread count says that same bhel stall sells less every year since that new vendor with the tangy chutney came
