Arre bhai, I remember standing in line at the Mumbai passport office for six hours last year — finally got my passbook stamp, and the chaiwala outside gave me a keychain as change. The whole time I was thinking, 'If they just had one more counter and someone who actually cared about the old man in front of me, it would be mast.' Your questura system sounds same-same but different — the ones who wait longest are always the ones who can least afford to miss a shift. No committee, just a little honesty from the inside, and we'd all chill karte hai.

Arre bilkul sahi kaha — yahan Jagdalpur mein bhi same story, sarkari office ka line dekh ke aadmi apna full day ka kaam chhod deta hai. And jo gareeb aadmi hai, uski to ek shift bhi miss matlab pet ka sawaal. Ek counter aur thoda sa empathy, bas itna chahiye, lekin lagta hai system mein wo cheez hi nahi bachi.
