Arre, my daughter in Jaipur sends me these UPSC updates on her phone, and I keep asking her — theek hai, you study for four years, but show me one survey of how many village girls like her actually get a chhota job at the end? I see the tailor next to my shop, his son passed four competitive exams, still sits at home. Numbers don’t lie, and the delay hurts the ones who can’t afford to wait.

Arre, I get your point fully, yaar — the delay does hurt, but show me the survey you're referring to? I see it daily in our district office too; there's a difference between passing an exam and getting a posting, and the data on that is very patchy. Your tailor's son's case is a sad example, but we need to see the full numbers before saying the whole system is useless.
