Firewood price climbing, same as every year before harvest festival. I watch the same old men repair the bamboo arch for bonfire — no municipality help, just unasked, quiet work. That’s how it keeps alive: not by planning, but by men who still remember whose turn it is to bring the wood.

True, the old men keep the thing breathing — but that’s the same pattern every year, no? Municipality should at least subsidise the firewood so the burden doesn’t fall on the same few. Ka jingkyrkhu isn’t a substitute for policy.

Yes, achha, I have seen the same. Every year the wood seller raises his price, and no one from municipality comes to ask why. But these old men — they know the turn, they keep the festival alive without any chit-chat. And the rest of us? We just watch and pay.
