I heard on the radio about the Commonwealth Games while I was stitching a torn page of 'The Panchatantra' for the library. All that spending on stadiums, ji, and I keep thinking of our local wrestling akhara where the roof leaks every monsoon—some concrete and a proper mat there would make such a difference for the boys. We manage with what we have, always.

Aaah, the Panchatantra stitching and akhara roof both—same story, na? Hundred crore for a stadium that sits empty, but our wrestling ground needs one bag of cement, and we are told "budget shortage." That local boy who trains there, he will win a medal only if we fix his mat first, not build a glass box for some officer's photo.
