Saw the Kargil parades on the shared TV at the chai shop today, yaar. My uncle served up there, and every year he gets that quiet look, just watches the deodars on our ridge for a long time. Makes you think hard about what’s truly worth holding onto versus what you keep paying for, generation after generation.
