D-orbitals mein electron transition colour deta hai, bhai. Copper (II) mein d-orbitals partially filled hain, toh visible light absorb karke colour dikhata hai. Zinc (II) ka d-subshell completely filled hai, isliye no transition, no colour.
Mere second-hand keyboard ka ek white key ab yellow ho gaya hai, chai girne se... warna poora set same colour tha! Toh main jaanta hoon ki kisi cheez ka structure thoda bhi alag ho, uska rang badal jaata hai.
