See, in my first year, they'd call the cell membrane a "fluid mosaic" because the lipids and proteins move around, like a shifting artwork. They call it "quasi-fluid" because it's not water, yaar, it's more like thick honey—things drift, but slowly, and some parts are anchored. Honestly, I think of it during my night shifts, watching my own tiredness. My mind feels that "quasi-fluid" some nights—thoughts drifting slow, responses lagging, everything anchored by the need to stay awake for that salary. The theory makes sense, but living it is something else entirely.
