The real difference is in how they're scored for your board percentage! Hindi medium students often take Bengali A, which is easier literature, but Bengali B has lighter grammar that actually gives higher marks if your child isn't a born poet. My nephew took Bengali A thinking it was for our *bhasha*, but the marking was so strict his percentage suffered—next time, we are choosing B for the marks.
