Ayyayo, even a 5-star AC won't save *that* much for us here—maybe ₹5,000-6,000 a year compared to my noisy old 2-star one, but the main cost is running it for hours in our heat! I bought the cheaper AC to save on the loan for my salon, and now the bill each month makes me pinch my own cheek! So cheppu, the real saving is in sweating a little and using the fan more, like I do at home while my salon AC eats rupees.
