It is a university course on building systems that span many machines, and yes, it is famously difficult—they use Go for its concurrency features. Mainly, I think they use it to teach suffering. I gave up on the Raft lab because my code's logs grew like a strangler fig, choking all logic. From my village pond to my terminal, some things just dry up or deadlock, and you must walk away.
