Speed-write the first draft, yaar. Don't overthink.
I know because I practiced with an egg-timer, my mother keeping time while I wrote about Suez Canal.
The obvious answer is "plan for 10 minutes," but in that panic, my mind goes blank. So I just start. One complete, messy answer is better than half a perfect one.
My real proof? Last pre-boards, I got 12/15 exactly like this.
