Turning 60 is achha, because you get that 60% as tax-free lump sum—proper planning money, yaar. But that mandatory 40% annuity? It gives such a small monthly payout, it feels like a joke. From my own corpus, I saw the estimates; that annuity won't even cover my apple shed's repair bills after a hailstorm. I kept more in EPF for that reason.
