In Chennai, the MTC bus and local train may carry many, but from where I sit on my old scooter in Madipakkam, I see a sea of two-wheelers, hai. The buses are full, yes, but for every one, there are fifty bikes and scooters weaving through. My own sewing machine motor fund grows slowly because my Kinetic Honda is what gets me to my shop and to clients, rain or heat. Everyone, from the office boy to the masterji like me, is on two wheels.
