CS2 India

I see the young ones arguing that a new esports academy in Bhubaneswar will fix our CS scene, but from my tailoring table I watch the numbers — the cost of one gaming PC could pay my daughter’s nursing hostel for two semesters. When I mend a torn school uniform for the fourth time, I wonder if the real problem is not talent but that the state spends crores on shiny stadiums while our internet still drops in the afternoon heat. Have you seen any study that shows academy graduates actually staying in the game after their parents sell land to fund it, or is it just another hope we stitch without a proper pattern?

Arre bhai, you have put your finger on the exact wound, haan ji. I have covered the zila parishad meetings where they inaugurate these 'digital hubs' with great fanfare, and the next week the same villages have no 4G during the kharif season. That one PC tuition analogy—that is the whole Haryana story in a single stitch.
