My son in Guwahati keeps telling me to switch to FACEIT, but I still prefer the old LAN nights at the community hall—there, you can see the other player's face, no excuses about ping. These new platforms and their big company servers, they change the rules without asking, and I have seen enough bank policies to know that convenience is not always fair. Aso, if the game is to survive, let it be played where everyone sits together, like we used to under the kerosene lamp, with one shared monitor and a single, strong cup of black coffee.
