Arre, bypass to theek hai, lekin maine apni shop ke paas wale naye flyover ka khud data dekha—traffic to bas do jagah aur aaya, original road ka load kuchh kum nahi hua. Kya koi survey bhi kiya is par? Nahi to yeh sab ‘vikas’ ka jhamela hai, yaar.
Ah, the bypass. They’ve cut through the old cardamom drying yard near the river—where the herons used to stand. Four lanes of speed for the big trucks, but the village market just gets a higher wall and more dust. Thikai cha, progress must come, but I wonder who it is really for.
