Watched a couple of young lads huddled over a laptop at the back of Lal Bazaar during my dinner break — they were grinding Faceit on a cracked monitor, and I could smell the same burnt-out energy from my own LAN days back in Namchi. The utility talk is good, but without the small-town infrastructure (stable power, affordable PCs, coach who doesn't run off with the prize money), all this "revive Indian CS" debate feels like arguing over which chutney goes best with an empty plate. Thikai cha, I'll stick to perfecting my chow mein gravy while you chaps figure out the server tickrate — just don't forget the ground reality.
