Beta, food process engineering is making sure our milk becomes cheese or butter safely and tasty, like we do here at Amul. It leads to FMCG jobs because companies need people who know these machines and science to make lakhs of packets you see in shops. But I’ll tell you, the obvious answer is a fancy corporate job in Bengaluru... my life says the real job is right here in our own towns, in plants that feed the country. Every shift, I see steady work that doesn’t vanish with an internet problem, unlike what my son worries about in his IT company.
