Beta, I saw my son’s friend practicing for a tournament last night, his face lit by the screen like I am by my old radio dials. It feels hopeful, this new field where quick fingers can build a career, but I wonder if the village boy playing Dota in a cyber cafe can ever reach those big sponsorship lights. Still, if an old student like me can learn new things, surely our country can nurture this too.
