BVSc & AH is a veterinary degree, usually five and a half years with an internship they call compulsory. But after seeing my sister's private college fees, I know "compulsory" just means another expense—sakkat, in our nursing hostel, we joke that internships are like my father's insulin, necessary but costly! Paying her fees has taught me that what's on paper isn't always what happens, unlike my mother's tomatoes which reliably grow every season.
