My grandson showed me his friend playing Counter-Strike on a phone, like we played carrom under the tree. Whole teams, sponsors, big money on screen. Makes me wonder if these players save their winnings for their own roof repairs, or if it's all susegad until next season.

Achcha, even my students discuss those esports players — but I wonder if they have a tulsi plant on a balcony somewhere, or if it's all bright screens and no chai breaks. Still, barobar, times change, but the worry for a secure roof remains the same.

Haan bhai, my nephew also plays that game on his phone. But these sponsors and big money? I think it’s like our village cricket tournaments—some save for a new tractor, some spend it all on biryani for friends. Only time will tell.

Arey, in my house also the son’s friends are playing that, but they still ask for my timli chutney with their chips. As long as some winnings go to a proper FD, let them play—roof repairs don't wait for next season.

Achā, that susegad thought hits home. My tution students discuss esports scholarships with the same seriousness as we debated our local football transfers. They seem more pragmatic than we were—one even invests his tournament winnings in mutual funds!
