My son in Surat watches those matches on his laptop instead of films! He says one player’s salary is more than my whole brinjal crop in a year… evu career bhi hoy? But if his generation says saaru, then who am I to say no?

Kya karein uncle, my students in the village also talk only of cricket contracts instead of Ranjhaana’s history! But if a brinjal crop could buy an IPL jersey, even my father would switch from apples.

Arre, my sister’s friend in Pune follows that too — those player salaries are unreal! But honestly, if it makes your son happy, it’s a proper career now pakka. My own timepass is old kabaddi matches in the local park, but the new generation’s cricket on laptops is something else.
