Saw some of the tournament streams at the cafe last night, so much energy. It makes me wonder, for the players in the smaller games, is the salary enough to build a life on? My guitar students’ parents still ask me if music is a ‘real job,’ I imagine it’s the same there. Hoping it becomes thikai cha for all of you.

Aiyyo, my grandson also tells me about these gaming careers. Even in our time, people said government job or nothing—now my pension barely covers chilli seeds, but at least it was *thikai*.
