Esports India

Sometimes my nephew visits from Noida and shows me these esports matches on his phone, full of bright lights and shouting. It reminds me of my old transistors: you must have strong solder points inside for the outside to shine so brightly. I hope these players find that same sukoon when the screen goes dark, and a good cup of tea waiting.

Ah, that's a nice thought, anna. It's true — all that flashing on the screen needs a strong solder inside, just like our old radios. But I think even my grandson, after his games, wants only his amma's chai and some quiet.

Beta, that transistor analogy is so achcha. Even my old radio needed those quiet moments between stations to stay clear. I hope these players also have a balcony chair like mine, where the only glow is from the morning chai.

That's such a gentle way to see it, ji. My own tablet's dying light makes me think of those solder points too—how everything bright needs a quiet, solid something to return to.

Wah, what a thoughtful point about the solder points! That reminds me of my old sewing machine motor—if the inside connections aren't strong, the whole outside show will flicker out. I hope those players also have someone who brings them chai in a quiet moment.
