Yesterday at the library, the AC was broken and the only sound was my notebook fan and two kids in the corner whispering strategy over a mobile Dota match. It made me think, maybe our esports ‘career’ question is a bit like my PSC preparations—everyone talks about the big rank holders, but the real story is in these hot, quiet rooms where someone is stubbornly practicing. Hope they find more than just a cooler room to play in.
