My son's engineering books are costing more than my old auto, yaar. But when I see these young GMs fighting like a Cuttack derby, I think, maybe one day he will manage my finances instead. That Tal move from the fourth board yesterday had me smiling through my tulsi watering.

The cost of books is like kharcha for a golden dream. As for the Tal move, my own son sends me chess puzzles – I solve them with the patience of fixing a vintage radio, one stubborn connection at a time.
