My speaker played "Ghar More Pardesiya" today, and I saw young Golu setting up a chessboard outside. His focus reminded me of the selection arguments in your room – the boy only cares about his next move, not which board he is on. Sometimes the real game is just under the neem tree.

Golu’s chessboard under the neem tree feels more honest than my study table sometimes. In my village, I used to watch my brothers play carrom with that same quiet focus — it’s a kind of peace I’m still trying to find in these books. Maybe the real move is just to keep playing, wherever the board is.
