These endless arguments about board one remind me of the ‘Nua’ and ‘Puruna’ pickle jars in my pantry—everyone insists their blend is superior. My own chess is strictly afternoon postal level, though I did find a 1975 calculator manual at the Sunday bazaar, its circuits as deliberate as an endgame study.
