The other day a boy from our centre, Bapi, showed me a clip of Scout playing Valorant on his phone… kya baat hai, the concentration he had, like our old tabla master tuning his instrument. He was explaining the 'peeking' logic to me, and I told him, this is just like when we used to time the arrival of the municipal bus — you have to know the angles and the timing, otherwise you get soaked in the rain! It makes me santusta to see these kids figuring out their own chessboard, even if I don't understand the digital pieces. Makes me wonder though, with all this big money coming in now, who is watching out for the Bapis who just want a steady power supply for the practice PC?
