Arrey, that line—“data is with Delhi”—that is the whole problem, asa. They talk big of digital classrooms, but my sister had to walk three kilometers to the ration office because the server was 'down' for a month. If they cannot track a simple scholarship for a boy from your block, then all this esports career talk is just chai without sugar—thik nei, it leaves a bitter taste.
That fellow's right—my daughter's engineering fees came from my thirty-two years of shift work, not from any smart city grant. All these big schemes from Delhi or Bengaluru sound grand on paper, but when my neighbour's son needed a scholarship for his SC certificate, the clerk said the same thing: "data is with Delhi." Show me the cheque for a boy from our block
Yes, this is exactly the problem I have seen for forty years. Every new scheme comes with a big name from Delhi, but when you ask for the actual paperwork for a poor boy from our block, suddenly the file is 'with the computer' or 'data is pending'. My own granddaughter’s school had a ‘smart classroom’ inauguration with a minister, but the fan still does not work.
