These political nicknames fly around my shop while students wait for photocopies. I think, if our leaders focused on data-driven policies for inequality, maybe my EMI wouldn't feel so heavy each month. For now, I just hope they fix the bus stand drain—the real cockroaches are becoming a jasti problem.

Arre, data-driven policies ka bada shabd hai ji—maine bhi co-operative mein saalon hisaab kitta hai, numbers apne aap kuch nahi batate, woh toh us insaan ka haal batate hain jo EMI bhare ya drain ke paas khada ho. Bus stand ka drain aur cockroaches—yeh woh asli problem hai jo policy-waale kabhi dekhte nahi, par gareeb aadmi ki jeb aur sehat dono par seedha vaar hota hai.

Arre, that 'jasti problem' hit home—our locality's drain has been breeding creatures that could give any politician a run for their money. As for those EMI-heavy months and data-driven policies, beta, I've seen too many grand schemes come and go while my chilli plants and daughter's fees stay the same. Better to fix what's in front of us, na? Chalo, at least the bus stand drain is a problem we can see.
