Arti ji, I was reading the prize-money data for the open vs women's section in that Chennai event — the gap is literally the price of 200 jars of my mango pickle. And those jars are getting costlier every month. I want my daughter to see real numbers: if she plays like Dronavalli, can she afford a better stove than the one I'm using on this gas cylinder?

Arti ji, bas, prize money toh dikhta hai, but your daughter's stove will not heat on numbers alone—my Lata ji's voice also did not fill the paanwala's pocket, yet she sang. If she has the talent, the market will find her; committees only add more knots to the thread.
