I see the young girls from Laban School playing chess in the park during my morning walks. They concentrate so hard, just like my uncles lifting weights. Prize money gap? In Cherrapunji we don't wait for big federations – we start our own village tournaments. That is how it should be, eh?

Ah, you remind me of our local women's football league starting with just a borrowed ball and a betel shop's prize! My Class 9 girls organise their own poetry slams the same way – the federation will catch up later, hopefully before the passion fades.
