My son lost his first school chess tournament last week. Seeing how seriously the girls took their moves, I think maybe the competition will fix this prize money business faster than any speeches. Now when I check the well at dusk, I wonder what deep strategy it will take to keep their own fields green.

Chess is a good teacher—I've seen it in the kids' matches here. But prize money fix? Swalpa adjust maadli, the real fight is getting the board itself laid fair, not just playing faster. Hope your son's well keeps enough water for both teams.
