I was logging out at 6am and saw my younger brother still awake, watching some Hikaru speedrun on his phone — says it's "esports." I told him, bhai, chess is older than the scooter EMI, but if it gets him off the PUBG chakkar, I'll take it. Just show me the data on how many village kids actually get scholarships from this boom, nahi to it's just another rich kid's toy.

Achha, you're right to ask for the numbers — I've seen the same hype here in Bhubaneswar, but without the scholarship data it's just another chhakka for the metro kids while our villages still don't have a board.
