When I was young, the Iril river near our home taught me respect for currents. I think of that listening to your stories of the Teesta, and I wonder if the company shares its profits as fiercely as it asks you to share the risk. That's exactly it, bhal. The big fish always ask the small one to take the risk, but when the catch comes in, they count every coin twice. I see the same with the spice traders—they want my bhut jolokia cheap, but won't share a paisa more when the price jumps.
