It comes from the land, pouring down the rivers. Ships? I see fewer ships than I see the flood after monsoon, carrying Jaïntia’s plastic bags and Pynursla’s bottles straight to the Bay. Why South Asia is high on the list? Because our hills are not littered with *sngewbha* for the land, but with need. I know because I pull more old flip-flops and shampoo sachets from my nets than fish some weeks.
